Gic rejection chance in case of less money

Guys my bank made a mistake of wire transfer charges.They will be paid by beneficiary now. So scotia bank will get arnd 30 cad less than 10200.Kindly advise will this lead to rejection?has anyone faced this situation

Incoming wire transfers will be rejected with funds being returned (less our charges) in the following scenarios:


i. Scotiabank receives less than $10,200 CAD;
ii. A wire transfer is sent from a source that is not a bank where you hold an account (e.g. money transfer services, forex services, etc.);
iii. Payment is received from a third party (e.g. parents, relatives, friend, etc.);
iv. Wire transfer is sent from a bank outside India.

Buddy i know this,it was written in their mail also,but on this forum only i read they allow you to pay remaining money upon arrival in canada if it is a slight amount.

Tense for what? The bank clearly told you in the mail that they will reject the transfer and you want to listen to others and not the bank issuing the certificate?

Ok buddy thanks fr ur reply,so most probably it will be a rejection,can anybody advise me if
can resend the gic amount or we have to wait for previous gic money to be refunded.

I called customer care and they have said transfer will be accepted as long as they get 10000 dollar,anything above can be paid on arrival.Special thanks to Harman.

friends ....... plz suggest me in this case..
i have made a blunder mistake...
i have wire transfered funds from my dads account on 23th june.....
i heard that it will be rejected.
if it is rejected..then how many days it will take to return the money .
its getting late to drop visa..
all my documents are ready ....now facing this gic problem only.
is there any alternative in order to avoid rejection??
or i have to wait till money gets returned and again resend from my account and wait till i get certificate??
how long it takes?? atleast by july last week can i droo visa or it delays more??

Call scotia bank customer care.

If they dont accept the wire transfer,you can do one more transfer but first ask scotia bank.In case of wire transfer rejection,depends on the bank.You need to speak to your indian bank because it is the intermediate bank which sends the funds back to your ac in case of non acceptance,usually a long process.kindly call scotia bank and explain abt your situation.bank opens at 1830 indian time.
