Hi,

My GIC wire transfer to Scotiabank is rejected due to address mismatch. I got rejection email on 29 July 2022. Its been 14 days but haven't received the amount.

Can anyone help? How much time does it take to get the amount back? Any email id or contact number where we can connect?

All electronic communications with Scotiabank must be through the Scotiabank Secure Email Service. You may contact our Scotiabank Student GIC Program Customer Service department for assistance by collect call at: 416- 288-4119.
You can use skype calling for low cost international calls

Yes i am in touch with the bank over email. 1st they said i will get the money back in 10 days. Now they are saying it will take 4 weeks. They are not able to provide swift copy as its auto reversal. They have only provided ICN number. however no details about exact date of return, returned amount and way to track it

Its there last say, nothing much you can do to expedite it. Most of the time they let us know the max days in which we will get the refund. Hope it comes thru earlier than 4 weeks

I got the refund after 24 days.
i emailed them to track the funds.
