GIC or Loan?? pls help

Hi friends,

I applied to GIC first on Nov 8th, but they replied tat my passport copies are not clear so i resent on 12th Nov (four days passed as of today).. but still i dint get any wire transfer details.and from the topics here i earnt from others tat it takes nearly 10 days to get the GIC..i dnt think i have much time left for filing visa application..pls suggest if i can continue wit GIC or go for education loan using FD ..

if u can get educational loan against fd within 10 working days,go for it

or else wait for gic

hey thanks RNK ..yeah i can get loan against FD faster..today i have deposited the money..did u geta GIC? how long it took for u?

Hey i got the mail from Scotia bank..will do the wire transfer on monday as it cant be done on saturday and sunday..

y cant u do it today?? It takes sometime for money to reach the scotia bank.so do it today and by coming friday u will have your gic.

hey I transferred funds for gic yesterday......how much time do they take to issue a certificate ?

its cos the nationalised bank doenst do on sat and sun..

ohk,
u know transfering money from thomascook,western union etc., is best, u can save upto 20k

oh ok..but i got no account ther..never mind..am happy if i get GIC on time...seems lik some poeple are waiting fro more than 10 days..
