GIC now for Pakistani.

Hi,
My wife has applied for Study Visa on 22 July 2019
She has Pakistani Passport.
She haven't submitted GIC since it was not for Pakistan National.
But now CIC has released the GIC Is compulsory now onwards.
So my Question is
since our application is already submitted online without GIC , Will it affect my current application?
