agents just want their money they dont care abput students and their life.
moreover, if scotia bank update your info that would be best but if they dont then to be on the safe side i would suggest go with icici as it is a matter of large amount and career too.

yesss definitely,,,,,,if they don't update info,,,then icici would be the only option left....

I will keep u updated guys....

Hello..my gic got rejected due to mismatch of dob on 1feb 2019.still i did not receive my lpayment.i am waiting for refund so that i can repay...please any one suggest how many days it will tale

Hey,
I've paid my GIC on 30/10/2019.
Mistakenly, Bank has put year of birth 1986 instead of 1996 as per the Swift copy.
However, they attached scanned copies of passport and PAN card details along with the funds transfer.
Also, they sent a swift copy amendment request directly to Scotiabank canada.
I also sent the mail regarding this issue to scotiabank with these supporting documents.
Will it could be the reason of my GIC rejection?
If yes, what should i do now?

You should go with CIBC bank. Details on your inbox.

Yes
Name and address are correct.
Moreover, bank sent the amendment request to Scotiabank.
So it won't be a problem. Right????
Dont worry.. You will be fine. Scotia takes atleast 8 days to issue GIC certificate after transfering funds. That's usual. So don't worry.

Hi is there a possibility of correction in swift copy/ wire transfer post rejection by Scotiabank?? I have received the message in secure mail that ordering and beneficiary address does not match...what should be my next steps???
