GIC issue

I opened my gic account woth the help of an offer letter from centinial college in oct 2013 but i droped that plan .Now i have another offer letter from other college.Can i use the same information that the scotia bank sent me earlier,as on that toronto,ontario is mentioned.But now i am planning for manitoba.
So can i use the same information?

same was the case with me buddy...i paid my gic for dec 13 intake with centennial clg offer letter but due to some reasons i didint go in dec intake ...now i have used the same gic with conestoga clg for may intake....but u still have not paid the gic so u can apply for a new one i suppose..but u should check with your consultant or see the link below might be helpful..

1) i asked scotia bank to open new account.but they said they wont issue another account and my previous account is valid.
2) What i am asking is that,centinial is in toronto and my new univ is in ottawa.
So is this a issue as long as GIC is concerned.As according to my GIC account the address is of toronto office.

Hi Lovedeep

I dont think there is an issue with that, Scotia has many branches in canada and once we r in canada we can go to any nearby branch and GIC activated . I have also opened GIC last month and plannig to transfer funds now .

Did you transferred the funds ?

There is no need to change my location in the details?
No i have not transferred yet..my LOA is for sept 2014 so i will transfer the funds in march.
