GIC from SBP bank

does state bank of patiala has the facility to transfer money for GIC (scotia bank) ? have you transferred from State bank of Patiala, give your feedback (what purpose did you write in bank form, what document did you give to bank)?

it is my majboori to use SBP, i only have account in that.

Also, tell what document you gave to bank even if you used other bank to transfer.

Buddy the checklist contains a detailed bank list from which the money can be wired. Just check if your bank is listed there or not.
though i didnt do GIC i had enquired with SBI on how to wire money. They had told me I need to issue a cheque if my account branch is not same as the branch from where i will wire money. And apart from that i need to fill 1 form. Thats all no id proof or anything extra. Hope this helps.

It is hard to find any person did GIC through SBP!!
Go to any branch of SBP to know about it... i think SBP do wire transfer..!

Just to add, not all SBP branches do FOREX,
there are specific branches in a city FOREX
BRANCHES which do these transactions !!! u can
find out at their website or through any branch !!!

yea bro, today i found their forex branch and they said that they will do on monday. they said that forex guy will come on monday and he knows what documents and forms u need.

now, i just wanna ask that what documents will they need from my side.
do they ask for admission offer letter. then wat about students who do not have admission offer letter now ?

Bro, for GIC fee you need account number sent by scotia bank + PAN card of person(from which account money should be sent).. some bank ask to fill 15AB and 15CB through Charted Accountant so there will be no tax on your wire transaction!!!!

Q: About offer letter - Scotia cannot send account Nubmer if you did not provide offer letter..!

Offer letter needed if you want to send college tuition fee..!

when wire transfer matures/completes, after than gic will be inssued in 3 business days. SBP is familiar with GIC but they dont have FOREX counters at every branch.

Nowadays.after 10 day wiring the money you will get GIC.
