GIC for FALL 2015 - SPP College - Study VISA

Hi,

I am offered admission in one of the SPP College and I paid fee for 1st Semester.
Today (July 16, 2015), I signed up with Scotia Bank and started GIC process.
I am waiting for Account details to transfer money.

Can this process be completed in time?
Can we apply for study visa in 1st week of August?

Please advise.

It may or may not. Once we apply for gic it takes 3-4 working days for account opening process and then when you transfer money from you bank, the procedure takes time. I tranferred money on 29 june, scotia bank recieved on 3rd july and deposited in my account on 9th and i recieved confirmation. Ask ur bank how may days it takes to make international transactions rest is ur luck..good luck.

Does Scotia bank send hard copy of GIC certificate?

No ..they'll send you soft copy

You need to apply on or before 31st july for fall intake.

You got receipt from college?

When are your classes starting ?(date mentioned on offer letter)

You still have time..

Classes will start in first week of Sept

Only GIC is left! I know some people apply in first week of Aug. I am not sure.

That's great.. but you should prefer applying on or before 31st July.. you have enough time for getting GIC done. Kindly go for it right now without wasting any time.. I got my GiC on 5th working day itself.

You can make a call to Scotia Bank and request them to send you confirmation email asap.
