Wait for 2-3 days more, they are taking 1-2 weeks for processing GIC. Call them again on Monday. As there is a huge rush in the applications for Sept intake, they are taking more time.

For me it took 6 business days , do not count the holidays between 13th july and today. if it exceeds 10 business days then contact scotia bank.

Be patient man, if you have applied correctly then you will get your gic very soon

Best of luck.

Hi,
I have transferred 10,200CAD to the BANK OF NOVASCOTIA and I got the TT from my bank regarding the wire transfer.

The benefeciary bank information given by soctia bank was:

Beneficiary Bank Information (Field 57)
Beneficiary Bank Information (Field 57)
THE BANK OF NOVA SCOTIA
BNS 35972 SSG Transaction Processing
4715 Tahoe Blvd
Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 0B4
SWIFT Code: NOSCCATTCOL

But my Indian bank branch manger accidently put the beneficiary bank information as:
THE BANK OF NOVA SCOTIA
44 king street
West Toronto
SWIFT Code: NOSCCATT

He also mentioned my address Canadore College Applied Arts and Science, ON, Toronto. But it was the field where I need to mention my Indian address. When I called Scotia bank customer care, the first person said there is no money reflecting in my account and I need to put a request to redirect my GIC to the correct branch. When I called second time they said no need of request but it will take more time to issue the certificate. My September intake is going on. Can anyone suggest me what to do

Today also I contacted Scotia bank they are saying they didn't receive the amount. I
For how long you are waiting for your GIC?
Beneficiary bank information is correct..ive also transferred the amount to that toronto branch.
Look at your swift tt copy under beneficiary name and address..whats mentioned there?

I checked the swift copy. The amount transferred to 44 king Street, West Toronto. I transferred the amount on 18th July. When I contacted Scotia bank they are saying they didn't receive anything.

It will take time..around 2-3 days more.i got it in around 7 business days..i transferred it on 13th july.
If u didnt got in this week then u can apply with the bank receipt with a letter mentioning the reason.
But dont worry you will get it this week.
They also know the deadline..

But they are saying no amount reflecting in my account. When I checked with my home branch they said the amount has credited to Scotia bank.

Yes they say this only..they told me also that no amount is reflecting when i called them on thursday..
Thing is that first the amount goes to some intermediary bank (in my case it was JP MORGAN CHASE BANK) then its processed and and goes to scotia..check your swift tt ..name of the intermediary bank must be there under receiving bank section.
