I do have one doubt.
The name on my passport is Harrison Thannippilly Justin. The amount I had sent was in the name of Harrison T. J ( short for Thannippilly Justin ). It's the name used in all of my documents except my passport as they required me to write my full name in it.
But I really don't that's the issue cause I've already received their email saying that they've received the wire transfer and also the welcome letter is available for download as well.. it's the investment advice that's still not available..
What do you think? Would that be the reason why it's getting delayed this much?? If it is wouldn't there be a conflict when they received the transaction or in the welcome letter?

I contacted the bank and they've told me that my account type is of a student deposit program and that is why there is no investment advice issued.
Is there any way I could change my account type in CIBC from the student deposit program to a GIC account?

I am planning to apply for Student Deposit Program instead of GIC so that I can use it to pay fees.
