Gic beneficiary address ... HELP URGENT

My friends gic got rejected as his bank mentioned just “Canada” as beneficiary address, they said we have to give Canadian address or we can’t process your remittance though he was adamant to use his home address as per passport under beneficiary address,My bank also did not let me write my own address as beneficiary address but wrote Nova Scotia address as beneficiary address would mine be rejected too, and how you guys did it help urgent

its better to go with CIBC bank for GIC its very easy just have to do RTGS in their associate bank i.e in mumbai and you will get your GIC in 2-3 days
