GIC APPLICATION RETURNED

Hi All,

The GIC application I submitted returned mentioning the following reasons;

Thank you for your interest in Scotiabank's Student GIC Program. We are unable to process your application at this time due to one of the following reasons below: •Application has been submitted in multiple file formats and documents. Please resubmit in ONE PDF file.
•Application is not legible. Please resubmit application in typed NOT handwritten format.
•Documents are unclear.
•No attachments in your email.
•The name on your application does not match with your passport

Please re-submit your application with all supporting documents to Scotiabank by scanning and emailing readable copies in a single PDF file to newaccount@scotiabank.com. Students must indicate “Scotiabank Student GIC Program” on subject line.


I checked everything and everything was fine, Irying to figure out the reason

Do you have any suggestions

While putting the signature on each page I had put sign, name and date also, was that not required?

what you told was the reason. I had given only first name and last name but there was middle name also in the passport. Later I re submitted with Last name includung middle name. AND I got IP reference number

my student visa got rejected and the reason the told me are
"you have not satisfied me that you will leave canada..(under that there was a sub category) : purpose of visit.
2nd reason was under "other reasons category" : your proposed study are not reasonable in the light of your previous studies.

My details.: ok i applied in this cape breton university, nova scotia, canada (for Business Administration cource) . the university was willing to accept me on the basis of 10th grade. (as i didnt do 12th grade and opt for polytechnic which i left due not clearing some particular subjects)
so on the basis of 10th grade the gave me acceptance letter..
after paying fees and all..i applied to visa where i submitted my:

1. copy of acceptance
2.fee payment acknowledgement (6000CAD for one semester)
3. medical certificate
4. loan of Rs. 9 lakhs
5. bank statements of last 6 months.
6. passport

please please help me. my counsellor said that i have to now submit GIC in order to satisfy visa officers..but i don't find any relation between GIC and my rejection because they didnt mention any financial problem. moreover in CIC website it is clearly written that either i can take bank loan or GIC. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
My funds did not transfer to the GIC. The reason is that name in scotiabank gic account does not contain my middle name (it is on passport and indian bank from where i am transferring to). On enquiry, my consultant (who applied the GIC account) told me that middle name field was not in the application hence he did not enter. Now he is telling that he may open a new gic account with correct name. i dont know how it will accept now if it was not being accepted earlier.

Can anyone suggest me how did they handle the middle name thing ? Did you enter in the last name or first name with space? Any help will be appreciated.
