GIC and study permit

Hey does anyone know if I would be needing a GIC if my program is 32 weeks long. Also is it easier to get a study permit if I apply for an ECE or PSW program in Canada

You have to show the funds for living and expenses and tuition so either as GIC or cash in the bank. You need to justify taking the program with jobs in your home country, not for working in Canada.

thanks for the reply can you tell me if the fees for the entire program is 12000 cad. Will 16 lakh rupees be enough to convince the visa officer. I know its hard to predict but just give me a speculation from your side.

For a study permit you need to show minimum $21k CDN plus tuition so $33k CDN. I don’t know currency conversion rates
