Does college gives us any reference for in which bank to get gic account in? Or it's our own wish to choose a bank. .. Will icici gic account be OK to study in Nova Scotia Sydney or any other bank?

Usually it would be logical to contact ur college resource person as he/she would be having accurate idea.But mostly it is our wish which bank to choose. Please check if the bank is offering GIC program.
you mean to say ICICI bank in Canada ? then straight no but if you want to transfer from ICICI to SCOTIA bank or CIBC bank then its ok.
I don't suggest ICICI bank as there are hardly few of their branches here, so every withdrawal you will have to go to other bank ATM and they will charge you $3.50 for every transaction.
