Pre-Arrival is a letter inviting you to take part in pre-arrival services such as language training, resume writing, job search assistance, etc. Many people do not realize that resume styles are different in North America from the rest of the world (ie no birth date, marital status on resumes). Can you please share your timeline? Is your VO Ankara? Also, what is pre arrival letter?

No, they update at different times frequently.so does the pr tracker and gckey does not get updated/ghost updated at the same time?
I see a couple of theories floating around. One is that it is a coincidence and each of us have updates. The other is that no real "hard update changes" are made lately, and that the GCKey system pulls updates from the immigration update at routine timings resulting in a blanket update. At the end of the day, immigration has agreed that both systems are out of synch and have flaws that need fixing. Here is an article speaking to some of the issues:Is that a bit weird most of us 2022-10-03? I mean kn gckey.
so we can rely atleast a bit more on the pr tracker that if there is a ghost update the vo did something on their end?I see a couple of theories floating around. New online immigration system’s many glitches are putting applicants’ futures at risk, say critics | The Star
I would say yes. In order to get an accurate update on the status.. I check both systems in order to determine the true update status. Many times I have seen one portal updated, and the other not updated and vice versa. Frustrating to say the least, and very confusing for those with new applications that are not used to the systems and not able to speak with an IRCC representative regularly to validate what they see.so we can rely atleast a bit more on the pr tracker that if there is a ghost update the vo did something on their end?
I've never really paid attention to it, until recently. I've only noticed 2 updates: August 26 and... yes, you guessed it: OCTOBER 3, just like you!!! Hahaha!@Mrs_spiritus did you know about this ghost update thing on GCKey?
It is. the response is wrong.I geniuenly did not know this was a thing. I thought a ghost update on the GCKey was when under the application status that reads "submitted" changed to "updated". Anyway, my last update was 2022-10-03.
