Getting Passport back

Hii guys, i applied for refugee claimant in Nov 2019. And i got married to PR here in dec 2020. We applied for spousal sponsorship as well. Fast forward to sep2021 my refugee claim was rejected. But i received no removal letter or anything. And now in Feb 2022 my sponsorship was accepted and i received my ecopr. So my question is how can i get my passport back. I applied in Hamilton( inland). And can i travel back to my home country? Since i got pr in spousal sponsorship not through refugee application. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Thank you for your reply.
My problem is I'm living in Calgary currently. I'm flying to Toronto next friday to check with 6900 airport road. Are ircc offices open for walk ins? just in case the cbsa doesnt have my passport.

I don’t think cbsa will have it, although you could try the offices you have to make appointment no walk ins

UPDATE: I received my passport back from Airport Road CBSA. So my only concern is now the situation is not same in my home country as before when i applied for refugee can i travel there and come back without fear of losing my PR ?

oh in that case you can. I thought you are refugee PR. If you got it through sponsorship then you are ok. Did you withdraw your refugee case?

I have tried everything I call refugees board they told me called border security force I called them they reply me you are already pr through spouse plus you have withdrawn your case so your passport must be with Ircc they gave me email also where I can ask my passport back but it bloody useless no one even responding I tried call immigration phone number it’s impossible to reach them just fed up ircc such an unorganised group of idiots no one responding from 8 am to 5 pm does not matter how much it try after 15 minutes they will reply cos if high volume it’s impossible to reach them I think nothing will be sort of till they open person to person cos I even went Montreal immigration office it has been closed since March 2020 so only hope now after 14 March when person to person deal start will get my passport .
