Hi everyone,
Does anyone can tell me about few things here.
My husband is a caucasian and hes originaly from canada but he doesnt have passport because
He never travel anywhere yet since im also in canada. My question is im applying or hes applying a spouse visa within Canada.
And some of the sponsor requirements ( my husband) are listed below.
*Canadian citizenship resident card.
*Canadian birth certificate
*Permanent resident card
*certifcation of regidtrstion of birth abroad
*Canadian passport or travel document showing the passport or trave document number, date of issue and expiration date.

I need someone to give me a little help from these things. He only have his Canadian birth certificate its because he was born in canada.
Would that be enough to prove that hes originaly from canada amd no need the rest on the list??
Please help me if anyone has an experienced like i do.

Thank you,

Princess

Okay, he really should have more than one, but if you just include one it should be fine.

My own understanding is that. All those PR cards and citixenship card he doesnt have is because he is canadian and grow up in canada. But im still confused with all these. How do i know it should be fine? And more question for you parker you might know better with all this situation. Is there any way that i could get my open visa before 6 months?
Thanks a lot

He must be included in your application when you apply. And if he is not in Canada, I don't know whether you can apply inland. I hope a senior member would jump in.

A canadian born citizen that never travelled will often only have his birth certificate and that is enough.
The reason for all the other documents on the list for the sponsor is in case the sponsor is not a canadian born citizen but a Permanent Resident or maybe those who get citizenship after immigration ; then of course the passport and PR card are relevant.
If your sponsor is a canadian born citizen then his birth certificate is what is needed for him...that is the document I included for our file...

If you apply inland, no there's not.

Unless you don't even bother with sponsorship and you go the skilled worker way (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp)

No. Do you believe you have extenuating circumstances that should help shorten you over wait times over other applicants?

I have no idea thats why i wanted an answer from anyone who know better.
Thnx!
