Hi there everyone, I hope you can help me out :)

I'm in love and I'm marrying my boyfriend in the summer, he is a Canadian citizen. I am a refugee claimant, I have been waiting for the hearing for 2 years now. I was wondering if anyone knows what are the steps you must take in my situation to get married and obtain the sponsorship. Thank you!!

sounds complicated, hehehe. Most immigration lawyers will charge a very small fee for a counsiltation (50-1000$) I think it would be good to get some professional advise to see what the next best step is.There mat be some in your area or you may have to travel a little but it helps so much to talk with someone who KNOWS what to do next.good luck to you both

lol @ 50-1000$ 1000 dollars is not a small fee :)) But graham is right I think due to your refugee claimant and marrying a citizen they would probably have the best recommendation for you. Some also even give a free consultation. Look for immigration consultants and go from there :) Good luck!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Just a word of advice. When and if you go ahead with a sponsorship application, be sure to provide LOTS of evidence. Your application will be scrutinized much more closely and be a source of some suspicion because of your refugee claim. Good luck!
