Getting married to a PR applicant without having done my landing post CoPR

Hey guys, I've found myself in a little situation. I submitted my application along with my fiance as SEPARATE candidates on the 23rd of August 2018 assuming we would both get our PRs and eventually move to Canada and then if things play out we'll get married.
In a sudden turn of events (families) we have to get married sooner (Jan 2019). I received my CoPR in November and intend on landing end Feb 2019, however, my fiance has still not received her CoPR and her 6 months (as per the online tracker timeline) will be finished on the 23rd of Feb.
Can someone here please guide us as to how we should go about it, given I will be informing CIC once we are married. my questions are as followed:
- what if my fiance gets her CoPR before we get married?
- will my application be resubmitted, if so how long will the process take as my CoPR visa is valid only till may 2019
- Considering she has already submitted her application for PR (having more points than me) should add to our benefit in any way in expediting?
Eagerly waiting for suggestions!!
Thanks

There is no way of expediting her PR application.

If you are going to get married before landing, you cannot use the COPR you have now to land since it was issued to you with single status. Using a visa issued to you with single status to land when you are now married is misrepresentation and can result in your PR status being revoked. Once you are married, you will have to return your COPR to the visa office and notify them that you are now married. You will then have to add your spouse to your application and provide all of the paperwork (including PCCs) for them to add your spouse. You can expect to wait another 3-4 months before a new COPR is issued. And yes - it doesn't matter that your future spouse is a PR applicant as well. You must still add her to your application if you get married before landing. Even if her COPR was ready - you would still have to update your application to include her (and she would have to update her application to include you). If you wish to avoid this, you either have to delay your marriage until after February, or you must do a soft landing before you get married in January.

If you decide to go ahead as planned and get married before landing, then landing in Feburary will not be possible. You'll be looking at sometime in July or July before your new COPR is ready.

Thank you so much for your response Scylla, its been very helpful for my planning.

I actually read on a forum here in the case where post the marriage the applicant informed CIC about his marriage (attaching the marriage legal document) after which his visa was not called back instead his status was updated from single to married. He was asked to do his landing post which he can then begin the spouse process. The difference in his case from mine was the fact that my wife to be has also applied for Express Entry and is already in process.

However, its pertinent that I inform of my change in status from single to married, and wait out the route I'm suggested and hope for the best!!
