Getting married after receiving CoPR

I had applied for PR as a single and received my CoPR. I am still based out of my host country. I will be getting married in a few weeks in my host country and my fiance has a Canadian PR and is currently living in Canada. I have below queries:
1) When should I inform CIC, should I inform them now or after I procure the marriage certificate post registering my marriage (registration of marriage and getting the certificate might take some time)?
2) Approximately how much time will it take to get the new/ renewed CoPR with updated marital status?
3) Is there any other way around this?

1. You should inform them as soon as there's a legal record that certifies your marital status change like the marriage certificate.
2. For this I am not very sure and my answer could be wrong. IMHO, you need to raise a CSE to update your status change and attach the relevant records and send your COPR back. CSE's processing is very slow (based on my experience) which takes 4-6 weeks to hear from CIC. As your fiance is a PR, idk after you update that whether CIC need the information of your spouse like PC certificates and other stuff.
3. Yes. Do the landing with COPR before your marriage is the best choice in my view.

Hi,
I got my COPR as a single applicant this week and my wedding is due in a month to another PR holder residing in canada. I plan to move a week after our wedding. Can someone please guide me through the steps to ensure my COPR remains valid upon arrival.
