My marital status has always been single and my application has been filed as a single applicant.
I have received my passport request letter on the 22 February 2017 from CIC requesting me to submit my passport (within 30days) in order for the VISA office to issue my Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).
I planned to get married (legally) in March 2017 and this will result in a “Change in Circumstances” because my marital status will then be “married”.
Given that I would like my future wife to accompany me to Canada, I want to add her to my application before submitting my passport and obtaining COPR.
I would like to know how to proceed with this situation and what are the additional documents that need to be submitted and how they should be submitted.
