Hello Experts,
Here's my profile
Work Experience, 8 years and 6 months in US in IT. I work as a DevOps Engineer, worked as a Linux and Middleware Administrator for most part of my career.
Education: Master's in Electrical Engineering from a state university in USA from 2006-2008.
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university in India from 2001-2005.
IELTS: An overall band of 8.5. The split is Reading 8.0, Speaking 8.5, Writing 8.5 and Listening 8.0.
I have used a points calculator on the Canadian visa website that said I had a total of 456 points making me eligible to apply for Express Entry as per the website.
However, I have been repeatedly getting "profile ineligible" while applying on the CIC gov website. I have tried to figure out where this issue has been happening as I had friends that had used this system in the past and they never had these issues crop up. One of my friends mentioned that this might be happening due to the fact that my educational degree evaluation has not been done yet by WES.
Would you think this might be the reason why I am getting the profile ineligible message? Please advise based on your experience.
