im now waiting for 30 months for my file to be processed.... its been a long wait ang still i can see the light at the end of this frustrating tunnel...... the timeline in manila takes 60 months or more.....ive been opening my mail oftenly lately, hoping for a good news, but as time pass, it makes me more frustrated.... i envy those people who waited just for a year or so in order for thier application to be processed.....how i wish canada will be fair to all applicants regarding this matter....
a friend of mine recently applied for migration in new zealand, at it took hime barely 4 months to get there with his family, now im thinking of taking his path...
as i open this website i often see some news about hope, like they say canada just added some immigration officer to manila to speed up application, but i guess these are just false hope for us, i recently contakted my agent telling me the rate at which the embassy finish a case remains thesame....
if canada does not resolve this issue, more prospective canadians on que might think of applying to other countries offering greener pastures like new zealand or australia in which processing times takes only about 6 months.....
this is not a hate mail or so for canada, i hope some high rank immigration god reads this in order to read the side of the thousands of people in que...
and can anyone tell me what the real deal is regarding the new law which is about to be implemented.... do you think it would be nice if i widraw and apply again? im a engineer with 10 years experience in CNC machining....will it be faster to do it that way or will i wait?

i understand your frustration.
y dnt u apply for new zealand then and in four months, if u get therem u can live there and if u really like it , u ca withdraw your application from canadian embassy and they ll refund you.
but u also can land in new zealand and still if u decide u really want to move to canada, work in nz for a while, then go to canada once ur pr is through.
wish u all the best.

I'm also one of the applicants whose has been waiting for so long! And still waiting till now..... :(. Understand that we have these dreams and mindset that Canada offers a greener pastures but we should also think that isn't a guarantee that's life gonna fine over there. I suggest you don't withdraw but try your luck on another country and who knows....there will be better life and more greener pastures out there. Lets hope and pray for the best!!! :)

Oz and nz both are beautifull countries...with great prospectus....in oz you can get good job if you have good qualifications and experience...and both countries have same standards like ecanada...if it is taking too long go for oz or nz immigration..one of my friend recently got pr of oz and got good job as engineer in mining industry....any way good luck dear for your future..

markus,

Share your timeline with us. What is your NOC?
you applied in 2010 and be informed, there are people here in this forum who applied in 2004 and waiting since then, though their cases are to be returned back but they have lodged a legal battle.

Stay Hopeful, Do your daily work.
Life does not revolve around Canada and its Immigration.
