getting another job while waiting for inland spousal sponsorship

hello everyone!

I need some enlightenment...I am currently on a work permit (temporary foreign worker) at the same time we have submitted our inland spousal sponsorship for over 2 months now with an open work permit application..i understand this takes more than a year before it will come out..my question is, is it legal for me to get another job on top of what i have right now without getting another LMO(labour market opinion)? I need extra money for savings and get more than what im getting in my current job.

No, it isn't legal. Once you get first stage of approval they will give you the open work permit and then you can get another job, but not before that.
