Hello there!

I was born in Korea and have been a Canadian Citizen for 29yrs. I have no birth certificate, only my Canadian Immigration Record amd Visa application confirming when and where I was born.

My parents have informed me that they cannot obtain the birth certificate from our home country.

This is a requirement for me and my fiance to be officially married in her country (Venezuela).

Does anyone know where I can apply to get an International Birth Certificate? I've searched online but can't find anything.

Thanks in advance.

Yes I'd did...so hard to get through.

Could you email them?
I was able to get lots of information from our local one by emailing regarding my childrens status.

Get Affidavits made by both of your parents stating your date of birth and that there is no record in the concerned authority about it. That would be helpful..

I have my birth certificate but my name wasn't there on it as I was not named when my Birth was registered.. My parents got Affidavits made.. stating the same..
I hope this helps

I will try e-mailing them.

For some reason, I don't think they'll accept Affidavit's.

Thanks again for everyones feedback. Much appreciated.
