mmh93-- you'r BF'D date-01.05.2013; thats nver gonna change, dont think that. this date could come closer as per the need of IT guys in Canadian Job market. this 2013 BF'd date is the final date before your file will see a final decision. but its surely a sign of stagnancy.

my guess is that your background checks are still to be completed and as 0213's are unwelcoming at the moment, they have even stalled that background check processing.

CIC is now giving preference on post June 2010 applicants where there are unusual professionals; Social Workers, Pharmacists, Architects, Restaurant managers, Doctors, Biologists etc.

besides, an announcement is gonna come anytime in june/july 2011.

Don't lose your hopes. you guys have not been rejected, its that youre not moving.

My status is " In process " from 8 Feb, 2011 but I am certain that's not real as it is still with RBVO details inside.

The BF'D may be changed into a latter date, not earlier. Given the VO has a huge backlog, the chance of keeping the BF'D unchanged is also very slim.

Let's all have patience and forbearance.

1. CHC Singapore along with other Canadian missions stopped working from March 2011; later their goernment got collapsed and the same old government came to power only in May 2011.

2. overwhelming number of 0213, Teachers applied before June 2010.

3 June 2010 announcement came and CAP was introduced though only 2-3 of those NOCs made it to reach 1000 Cap.

the question is : the slow motion by CHC's is purely intentional. and now they have started to issue some MR's and PPR's, we the pre june applicants are yet to see any light. prayer is the only thing we can do now.

my status is IN PROCESS since October 2010 so if you compare mine with yours then waiting is the game we gotta play. let us hope you get your MR ahead of me. but how ?? that is the question. coz I applied 5-8 months before you.

Hello Swapnochary how r u ? I ordered caips some days before through www.lawpoint.ca There your friend can pay without any paypal account. It costs me $25 . Your friend just need to pay and fill a form then he will receive a mail containing your form. He will forward you the mail you gotta print out the form and sign and email the scanned copy to them.

I heard money exchange can do max 1000USD, where the figure varies 2000-5000 from bank to bank..also their fees.
pls suggest which is the cost effective and wise way to go ???

You do not hesitate about dollar endorsement. pls go Motijheel at Hohar Money exchange, they put seal for $1000 in each passport, its enough. Try to declare below $10,000 at Toronto airport otherwise you will not get any education loan before six months. Now i am facing this problem. take care

but if you do not declare below 10000 then will they allow us to let in canada? coz POF need to be declare 11000 for 2 members , can you please explain and any reference for this please

the law is that if you carry more than $10K and dont declare, you'd be penalized according to the law of Canada. there is no boundary how much much $$$$$$ you could take with you.
