I am I Canadian citizen living in the USA with my with that is an American citizen. I am a permanent resident in the USA I moved here 2 years ago. We are thinking of moving back to Canada but we aren't sure the process of getting my wife there. We both live in the USA so I don't know how I could sponsor her not having a job in Canada. Would I have to move back first and get a job and then sponsor her? Any answers would be greatly appreciated

You can still sponsor her from outside of Canada, just apply for outland sponsorship. Here is the application:

It can be overwhelming so feel free to post more questions! That is the basic outline of everything you will need to do though.

You will have to prove that once your wife becomes a PR, you have intent to move to Canada. That's likely the only thing that will be scrutinized on your application. Family ties to Canada, property that you own, plane tickets, or job offers from Canada could all help with that.

I want to agree with the post above, and further encourage continued use of the forums. The people here have been immeasurably helpful to me and I have learned so much just my posting and reading here.
