I think only Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] needs to be printed using laser printer on white, bond-quality, non-glossy paper.
And other forms and photo copies of documents can be printed on non bond-quality papers.
Could you please confirm about my understanding?

From my research, the CIC website does not specify the type of printer or paper to use. However, the CIC guide website states that "Print all pages of your application form" and it is clearly written on the forms to print or type in black ink.

It is wise to make the printing as clear and legible as possible and to print on white paper because black is clearest on white paper.

Using glossy paper is also not advised but I doubt if CIC would penalize anyone for using it.

Wish you the best in your application.
