Generic Application form - NEW as of Nov 2014 - No longer specify Visa Office?

Hi everyone

I noticed today that the Generic Application form was updated in November. It no longer has the question asking which Visa office you would like to use to process your application.

I need mine to be processed in London as I shall be using property equity as my proof of funds. I wonder why they have done this and how can I make sure my application now goes to London?

I believe that they will make the decision of which visa office to send your application to from what is filled in "Current country of residence" (number 10 of form IMM 0008)
