I am not disputing that people are getting conflicting information, I am saying that it is unfair to criticise people who are posting only what they are being told BY CIC. If I phone CIC and they tell me 'Your application has been returned'...do I then come off the phone and just go into denial...

No offence but how can you call it "baseless news" when people are only reporting what they are being told BY CIC or by the rejection letters they have been sent BY CIC. These people are not just plucking this stuff out of thin air!, they are just relaying what they have been told by Canadian...

We called this afternoon, all we were told is that a 'letter' was sent to us on the 6th March. I asked if this was our application, she said ' I don't know, it just says a letter in the system'. It must be our application, why else would they send us a letter at this stage? We know it's going...

My wife and I feel the same. Completely heart broken. Our application arrived on the 30th (would have been the 29th if not for UPS screwing up). Our NOC was cold too , 4214, so we never imagined this would happen. We have spent the last 8 months thinking about nothing else but our application...

I am guessing overall, as mine was a cold NOC. The agent could not tell me that it was specifically our app that had been returned, just that a 'letter' had gone out last Friday. Why would they send a letter?...it has to be our app.

Dec 30th applicant here. Just called CIC, was told a 'letter' was sent to us on the 6th March, last Friday. This concurs with what was previously reported about the cap being full and an application returned last Friday. I am assuming this is our rejection. Sorry everyone but I really think...

True, unless the London visa office is processing your application, they accept property equity, I have had this confirmed in writing from them.

Yep. I still have a couple of weeks I can wait for ICAS, but if I don't get anything by then I will have to look at doing that.
