Generic Application Form [IMM 0008] Updated November *NEED ADVISE*

So I saw this morning that the generic application form IMM 0008 has been updated to November 2014 from August 2014. Therefore my question is what about the people that applied before the new form was updated will they be asked to submit the new form. I am asking if someone applied with the August 2014 form IMM 0008 in September 2014 and October 2014 and haven't gotten there Sponsor approval will they be asked to send in the new form when CIC opens there file for initial review.

Please members who have experienced this please give me some advise.

Generally, the form that is current on the date that you submit your application is accepted. If however, a new one becomes available before you submit, you should use that one only, even if it means more work for you.

Generic application form 0008 asks for place of birth city/town. my problem is my birth certificate says the different city and my passport says different city of birth. now on the subject form what should i mention as city of birth??
shall i go as per birth certificate or as per passport??

Right now even if we want to gill this out we can but its not allowing to upload it on email so i can end it to my husband in case cic asks for it.

I think you should make correction in any one of them. Both should be same in my opinion may be i am wrong , plz make my comment correct if i am wrong

Hi Shaiz, the same question i posted on Spousal sponsorship link below and i got an answer from a member canuck_in_uk
i am trying to post link but it is not allowing me

canuck_in_uk says, i should write the place of birth as per the actual place (as per birth certificate) meanwhile i should get rectification on my passport.

I don't want to waste my time while making correction and then submitting the application later but at the same time i am afraid of the rejection of my application due to this error and it might take more long.

Yes they may or may not make objection cant say about their mind, because lots of there they rejected saying not grnuine case, i will say dont take risk.
