Hello friends,
I wanted to know if any of you have come across trying to fill out question 11 on the generic application form 0008. I was in Canada two months ago for a week. Since I live in the US, I couldn't stay long (not enough vacation time) but question 11 asks for a date. Ok. It won't let me fill out the question electronically. I try to add a date or a place and nothing. Do I need to fill it out by hand? I'm worried since I will have to validate it and I would be adding additional info after it's been validated.
What should I do?

When I was filling out my forms, sometimes I would have to refresh the page because it was doing the same thing for me... I don't know if this is your case but maybe give it a try.

Since your country of residence is the US, it greys out question 11 (it becomes irrelevant since you don't live *in* Canada). You can fill out n/a after you print it so you don't leave it blank, but the form should validate without any issues.

Validated and Printing...yay!! Thank you.

For my husband it was the same and it validated without a problem, and then I just filled in by hand when he came to Canada one time on a visitor visa. The guide isn't very informative about that part either, so we just filled it in. They should say somewhere on the actual form that that part is only required for people who reside in Canada.... anyway, I didn't want to put not applicable since he had entered Canada once, so I wrote it in by hand after we validated and printed it.
