2-TRANSFER 10.000$ IN CANADIAN BANK ACCOUNT (WITH CA Cerificate )
3-IELTS (NOT OLDER THAN 24MONTHS) 6 BANDS FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM

I GOT 6 OVERALL BAND SCORE IN IELTS (5 BANDS IN WRITING )
I HAVE ACCEPTANCE OFFER LETTER FROM CANADIAN RECONIZED UNIVERSITY FOR FULL TIME DIPLOMA PROGRAM WITH ESL PROGRAM
I DONE MY 12TH WITH 72% IN MEDICAL STREAM 10TH 63%

NOW MY QUESTION IS- I WANT TO KNOW WITH THESE ACADEMICS I SHOULD APPLY FOR CANADA STUDY PERMIT..

IS THERE ANY PROBLEM WITH THESE ACADEMICS.. I GONNA APPLY UNDER GENERAL CATEGORY (THATS IS- NON SPP ) NOT SPP BECAUSE I KNOW SPP NOT ALLOW NOT LESS THAN 5.5

MANY PEOPLE GET VISA WITH SAME ACADEMICS.. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU KNOW MORE ABOUT MY CASE..

Hi,

Which college or university have you gained admission into and for what program specifically? What about your financial background? Have you being given scholarship?

Getting IELTS writing section score of 5 doesn't rule you out of applying for study permit under the general. Other factors such your previous academic background and your current activities will be taken into consideration by the visa offer. If your 12th grade program is different from what you intend pursuing in Canada, then you should add a SOP to explain your future plans. Are you applying online or submitting paper application?

i got acceptace letter from ufv
i done my 12 with 72% marks in medical
10th with 63%
i have all other financial requirements
now tell me its all fine or not

Since the university/college has given you unconditional admission, it means you qualify to apply for visa. Generally, you're eligible to apply, but visa officers will have the final say. If you doubt your own self, then consult the Canadian Visa Center (VFS) close to your area or submit your application through the VFS. They'll basically assess your application if all the requirements are met and you've applied through the right channel. They can offer you better advise than this forum.

1) General
2) University
3) SPP
Please note that I would be provided with funding for the first year which should be renewed depending on my performance. I am infact going for a Ph.D. program. University scholarship would be the way of funding my education there and that's the information I have provided therein.
Kindly advice me which category should I apply to. Neither VFS Global nor the Canadian High Commission could help me in this regard. Please treat this as urgent. Please help.

I'm not sure if there are difference between these categories: general & university. All I know is that university applicants come under the general category. In that case you've to apply under the general category. I think someone here may clarify this or you may consult the VFS to clarify the difference between the general & university categories. Of course they should be able to provide you with more information about the categories, but they can't advise which one to choose. Normally, the general category applies to every student intending to pursue bachelors, masters, PhD in Canadian universities. Students for Canadian Colleges apply under the SPP in India.

In your case, you don't need to purshase a GIC. Your scholarship amount is enough (if your yearly tuition fees is not more than CN$14,000 because you'll need to prove that you've at least CN$10,000 for your first year to cover your food, accommodation and other expenses). Just submit your acceptance letter together with your scholarship offer letter. You may also apply online since you're applying under the general. So the part about source of finance, you'll need to upload your scholarship offer letter and attached to this file. Good luck Buddy!

Hi. what are difference between SPP, University and General study permit?

I'm not sure about where the university category belongs to: either SPP or General. But you'll have to apply under one of these categories depending on the program you intend pursuing in Canada. SPP are for students pursuing their studies in some particular institution/colleges. It has some strict rules. The general category is for everyone who can't apply under the SPP.
