  • Hi..
Today I got my Refusal Letter (april intake).
Application files on Feb 8th under General Category for a Information Technology Diploma Co-op 2 year Course.

The rejection letter states that the VO is not satisfied with my application that i will not leave Canada after studies, and the 2 points ticked under this line is

      • You have not demonstrated that you or your parents have sufficient income and assets to justify your proposed studies.
      • Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of the following : your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, other educational opportunities available in India or Canada, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans.

      My Qualification is...

      • 10th - 82 % - passed in 2004
      • +2 math - 75% - passed in 2006
      • Two year certificate course in computer networking (2007-2008)
      • Working as a Junior System Admin in a reputed Organisation (2008 - till date)
      • Ielts band score overall 6(R-6, L-6.5,W-6,S-5.5)

And submitted 12.5 Lak as Educational Lone, ITR, Affidavit of Sponsor (my Brother)with supporting docs, submitted first year fees.

Is any chance for getting visa if i am applying again in the general category with

        • good sop stating that this course is relevant of my experience and previous studies
        • income certificates of my father and valuation certificates of fathers land.

I think that because you already have a 2 yr certificate and over 3 years work experience, the VO is probably questioning why you need a "general" IT diploma? In other words, you are already qualified for the level of studies you are seeking. You can do one of two things:
apply for a specialised IT program or a masters program.

I think they only care about money.

You just need to prove your family have enough funds to support you in Canada.

And those certifications you need to pay to write it and need to take it somewhere else other than in school.
