General Issues of Selection Interview

Dear hope we will have an interview by day after tomorrow and I have a questions related interview
1 how usually will it takes
2 what is PCC that is mentioned to be carried at the interview? Shall we carry it anyway
3 do they give there answer immidiately?
4 last why we may not succeed if everything in the file complete and true? Can be just because of quota or something?

Congrat for your interview and best of luck.....

1. it may be around 20 to 40 mintutes
2. Police Clearance Certificate(form every country where you lived more than equal to 6 months) if VO instructed to bring then surely you should bring it.
3. Your should be relaxed while answering to VO.....should listen carefully then answer the question, don't guess any thing...if you don't understand the question...simply say please repeat the question...should not lie any thing.....told truth...and when you answer any thing should maintain a good eye contact with him. If u wanna think more to answer any question can take time to answer but it should not a big gap or silence.
4. No dear you will succeed.......this is only perception......they don't have any quota....they process the case to case basis...there are no hard and fast rule....they follow their procedure only.....if you good your application is good you have got more than equal to 67 points...then why he reject you......so be patient and calm....your will succeed.....

No dear its my duty....bcs when i went to interview i had a lot of problem......and fear of un seen......but God gave me courge to complete my interview....for my interview exp. pl visit following thread.....best of luck your interview

hi guys....
i have applied for pr under fsw in noc 4152 in jan 2011 with my spouse. i had a lovely daughter in june 16 2012 which i informed to them before she was born. my vo suggested me to submit her docs within 15 aug 2012. as it took long time to get her pp i couldnt submit on given time. in nov my vo called me for immigration selection interview in chc abhu dhabi which was impossible for me to attend as i didnt have pp of my daughter and i requested them to change my interview venue frm abhu dhabi to london stating my problem in detail. the vo cancelled my interview at abhu dhabi and told me they would contact me for another interview date. it has been more than 5 months they havent contacted me. in the mean time i submitted my baby's docs before 2 months but got no response till now...
so i am much perplexed n worried....
do u guys have any similar idea or experience??

As per my knowledge...you have two chances of interview....in your first chanse you have intimated the VO...thats why your time slot was alotted to another appicant.....its normal and may take 4 to 5 month to allot a new time slot for your interview....so relax.....you will be given a new time slot for interview......you should make a qurey to VO abt this again....

I had my interview last year, I would like all persons who are about to appear in an interview to relax, interview is nothing difficult. I had given so many interviews in Pakistan related to job etc but to be honest this Canadian interview was the best I ever have had. I felt so happy and good after the interview that even if my application was rejected after the interview I would have been satisfied, but thank God mine was not rejected. The atmosphere during the interview was very relaxed, the interviewer cracked quite some jokes and laughed a lot, he even asked me for water and poured water for me in my glass, at one point he laughed so much that security rushed in to see if everything was ok. At the end he even came to the door to see me off and even opened the door for me and said so many good wishes for me.

I think like all civilised people Canadian too are very courteous and kind people, that is why they are devoloping and are so much devoped countries and I am proud to be going to Canada to live among such nice people. I notice that we Pakistani care for prayers etc but do not care for other human beings and do not care to be nice in our acts and attitude, which is contrary to Islam too as HAQOOQ of PEOPLE come first before HAQOOQ-il-IBAD. I wish Pakistanis too can focus on being nice people rather then focusing on prayers only.

First of all Congrat for your wonderfull interview........yes you are right......we as a nation not care about people....now developed nations sys that ....peoples are our assets......our Capital.....but unfotunately....in Pakistan.....forgetted.....thnx for your good post.

There are two reasons of interview

1. Quality assurance inerviw in which they check that how their inteview waiver procedure going on.
2. Serious issues of VO, in which VO have serious concern about any thing in file and he want to clarify those issue.

During interview VO told you that wht serious issue he have.....

I applied for Immigration and I was called for an interview on 6th January and the interview date is 19th February and I was looking for tips for preparation when I came to this website. Its a good work you guys did it helped me a lot but I have some question

Can you please tell me what to tell in the following questions
> Tell me about yourself?
> Can you tell me of any other overseas travel you have undertaken? ( I traveled to India in 2008 does that counts?)
> What's your patronymic?
> Please tell me about your obligations in (your_country)
> What will you do in Canada?
