General Consulate officer visit home?

An officer visit my home at working hour and only my 12 year-old daughter was at home.
Not many question except my daughter's name and where is my wife.
Anybody exprienced this situation? Why did not inform me in advance?
I completed the MR July 2012 and are waiting PPR. Tks for your sharing experiences.

Usually Visa Officer rep. visit work place to verify job and submitted experience or for demonstration of your work ........im listening this first time........

Any how be safe it may b a kind of fraudulent.......by a third party who is aware of your immigration ......

In which country you are and i think your medical has been expired on this July as you written above there must something is suspicious in your case why they visit your home you can order CAPS notes to know the real situation ......
