general arts and science diploma eligible for pgwp?

if i get admitted to a 2 year general arts and science diploma program, and have successfully completed the program, am i eligible for a 3 year PGWP?

there has been a problem with the students who took admission into this program in advance standing at niagara college and alpha institute. CIC is not happy with the General Arts & Sciences program.....

i agree with this seems like GAS is a doggy approach for PGWP and risky.

The students enrolled at Alpha institute and Niagara are in trouble, they are getting one year work permit after completing a PG Certificate of one year and GAS program. After spending thousands of dollars, some of them will have no option but to return to their home country, if they do not find a PR option for themselves.

the general arts and science program i am looking to apply to is the 2 year 4 semester at george brown college. it shouldn't be a problem to get 3 year pgwp?

At George Brown and if you study for 2 years, no problem at all. The program is good enough to get you 3 years work permit. But, you should also look at options in other provinces for easy PR options after completion of studies. It will be tough to apply for PR in Ontario after this program.
