GCSM Notes?

I have been reading up on them and I understand what they are, but what I am wondering is how informational are they really? Do they come from your visa office where your permanent resident application is being processed? I just want to know if it's something I should consider doing or if it isn't really worth it and ends up just being a waste of paper lol. What are some reasons people order them? And are they actual notes that are written by the visa officer who has been reviewing your application, or just a summary of what they've gone through so far?

it's notes that the visa officer takes about your file. So you should be able to see where in the process you are (background, etc), and also if the VO thinks the relationship is genuine, possible red flags they have noted etc.
It's worth ordering if you have been waiting a bit longer than most people in your case, but not just after sponsor approval as not much would be there...

thank you... my application has been in process in Los Angeles since February 14th, do you think its too early to put in an order for the notes,, or should i wait a few more months so that there will be more information gathered on them? we're not past the processing times right now, but im still nosey and would like to know what they have to say about our application so far.

Unless you are talking February 2012, then yes it will be WAY too early.

We're talking 6-8 months before the file will have any relevant notes if any.
