GCKey is a different story. typically a GCKey ghost update indicate a real progress, whereas tracker update may or may not (i.e. tracker is more sensitive than GCKey).

A few cases i saw online (no guarantee they are real) were all related to military experience (espcially had operation against Canada or its allies) or lied in PFL.
Hello, thanks for your response but it did mean something in my case, no actions were made previously. My file got transferred from sydney to my local visa office, which I wasn't expecting but hey at least there's some movement.

Today marks my one year anniversary of my comprehensive security check, and I juts received my new GCMS notes. Everything looks exactly the same as my last one except for one.
In the officers' notes, there was a heavily redacted update from April, which reads as follows:
Created Date: 2025/04/23
Update Date: 2025/04/23
Restricted: N
Label: Adm/Security
Office: CPC Missisauga
Text: Redacted
Have any of you had similar GCMS notes like this? Does that mean they are actually working on my case since April?

The last update in the sub activities is from a year ago, when my c-check started, which reads:
Type: security screening
status: received by CBSA
security screening type (A34): Comprehensive
screening priority: normal
In this case, the redacted update must have been something like « update from the NSSD requested », unfortunately it doesn’t reflect much as far as the progression goes…
mine stated 2nd November 2023
in 5th November 2024 it changed to in progress by CBSA.
Can you please tell me how did u know that csis completed their part because I order the notes 6 months ago and I didn’t receive? how long the cbsa could take to finish?
I ordered CSIS notes last year and it was mentioned that they had completed their part and sent their recommendation to CBSA. I think you should order CSIS notes again
In my case, the status never changed until recently. It was Received by CBSA since day one, and now it's blank in the security sub-activity
