It will be 7 months for me next week. My TRV will expire next month. I will apply for TRV this week. I am sure that I won't get any decision before a year.
Meanwhile I went to my MP's (Justice Minister of Canada) office more than 2 weeks ago, no update from them either.

Sam, what is your country of nationality (your passport) ?

And can you list all the countries you've been to or lived in ?

Do you know any "PNP Secure Outstanding" who got PPR?

No. And this could be a very good information for us. Another question is whether 'secure outstanding' is just a category for PNP stream. If not, are there different processing times till people from other streams get their PPRs?

That is not true. My friend got PR within 5 months in last November. He is a PNP inland applicant.
having travel history in US doesn't mean you need to submit FBI clearance. If you have lived there more than 6months then you need that. My GCMS notes says info sharing with USA in the last november and the result is fine.

I am from Bangladesh. I have lived in Bangladesh and Canada (more than 3.5 years). People applying from Bangladesh now getting PPR within 5 months now a days!

Today or tomorrow I will be applying to extend my TRV. lets see what happens!

Hi guys,

I am an EE-CEC-Inland applicant. I am facing the similar situation. My background check IP-2 has been more than 1.5 months. Also, I called CIC twice and they told me my case is under security check by the third party and they don't know how long it will last. (usually, for EE, you can get your PPR the same day or the second day after IP-2).

My point is, no matter your are PNP, or EE-cec/fsw, if you have previous long travel history, it is possible that your file will be stuck a long time under security check and there is nothing you can do except waiting.

I have a very normal travel history. I went to US 4 times and other countries I have visited are Malaysia (3-4 days) and Nepal (3 days). My GCMS notes says they shared my info with US and they are no issues with it.

If your GCMS notes says you have passed Eligibility, Medical and Criminality then there is just waiting for a decision.

4 times to States probably is enough to run the security check. I just guess. Because I have similar situation. I went to States four times last year. May I ask how long it takes to get the response from US ?

I have ordered the GCMS and are still waiting for the result.

US shared info was done in November 2016. Within one month of submission

My notes generated 2 months after aor showed security as not started for myself spouse and also for security combined for application when it is mentioned on page 2 of notes
The next notes generated after 3 months of aor showed the security of all three (PA spouse and combined for application) updated by visa officer at LVO on the same date but it is hidden with S15.1 mentioned on all pages
Upon calling IRCC helpline they said my security is still in progress
Can anyone say anything about the situation
I feel security is passed
because there is no group name written
also security screening is redacted twice

Hey people how are you?? Any updates?? I sent an e-mail to ottawa, got the same answer. Does anyone have a plan ?? Should we write a complain and sign it together or something?? I finished 9 months waiting

Officialy passed 11 months since AOR. In last GCMS notes received in April I still had PNP secure outstanding as a group name. Today I received notes generated on May 25, group name is changed to PNP. They extended my kids' medicals.

Got a reply from MP's office, security is pending. Told me to check with them on June 27.
