GCMS / Second Medical

Hi all,

So I submitted my application in Sep 18. The results from medical required I had to do a second X-ray. So I submitted my X-ray in March 19.

I recently received my GCMS notes and it showed that my eligibility was complete, criminality passed, medical in progress, security was blank (I assume because of the S15(1)). But my medical notes showed the latest entry as October 18.

So I called the medical clinic and my X-ray had not been uploaded in March. I am a bit frustrated because it has been 4 months... wasted.

They are uploading it today, do you know how long it will take for IRCC to finish assessing it? I think this may be the last bit before I get PR.

So the clinic thought the hospital did it... and so nothing else was done or flagged. Until I saw it in my GCMS that nothing had progressed since October last year.

It’s also frustrating because I’ve asked IRCC twice what is happening with my application and they send the default “we have everything, nothing further is required” email. Well actually... you’re still waiting on medical information, they could have at least told me that! If I never got my GCMS notes, I would have never known.

yes, this is truly frustrating, I am now actually worried myself as my PP's assistant/nurse said they have submitted it but could be opposite.

If your medical is still in progress, I would ask. I think the hospital got confused because I was doing a normal X-ray and it wasn’t flagged as an immigration thing (for some reason). I think it was because it was my second X-ray and I had to wait 6 months. Either way, super frustrating!
