No worries - I just wish that they would try to process things in order... it feels like they leave some application in the shelf just to keep the average processing time longer.

But my file is stuck at CPC-Sydney even after background check completed and in-progress. All sections are assigned to RC-8090. Seems there are other people especially (Nov-Dec-2019 & Jan-Feb-2020) are with same situation.

have you given the test? what was your BG completed?

Got GCMS notes end of July 2023 with LPP assigned to RC 8090 Sydney since Feb 2023. I just spoke to a nice IRCC agent and told him I've been waiting for 13 months and I understand how busy they are but it'd be nice to get some semblance of knowing that my application isn't stuck since March 2nd update and he said my LPP is completed. I said that's odd because LPP on my online status shows in progress. He said it's completed on his end. So I asked for the date it was completed and he said he can't give me that and that the application is progressing well.

I wish us all a speedy process with this. I know it's disheartening seeing people who applied only 6 or less months ago getting their oaths because while we are happy for them, we wish ours would also move alongside theirs. Sigh.

The agent lied to you then. They can tell what dates the LPP completed. Thats odd that he didnt give you the date. Try to request GCMS notes to find out because some agents are not reliable.

It's cool cos either way the waiting game is still on and it's still within the 18-month processing limit. 6 more months to go before I start stressing.

Received my GCMS notes today. Application timeline at the end:

Criminality: Passed
Language: Not Started
Residence: Not Started
Prohibition: Not Started
Primary Office: Scarborough (although when I emailed them this week, they said my application is in MIS)
Secondary Office: Sydney

I see something called "Location: E-Grant Interview PM03 Ready"
And all LPP is assigned to the dreaded RC-8090 with a due date of 2024/01/08

Does anyone know whether it means I will be called for an interview? And does RC-8090 mean X number of months of wait or eternal wait?

Hi. I am jan 2023 applicant from Montreal. I received my GCMS notes and I found the same that my file assigned to RC-8090 in sydney secondary office. LPP in progress and due date is 25-01-2024. Stuck in LPP since march

My LPP is COMPLETE!!!!! I’m so happy!!! I decided to log in now after a long time and my LPP was completed Aug 14. Update Aug 16!!! After more than 6 months of taking the test!
Thank you RC8090 for releasing me hahahhaa! I used to have nightmares of my application taking 24 months lol. I’m just happy right now! It’s gonna be a great weekend.

Great news! I did my test in November, nothing since but I got a ghost update yesterday! Was nice not seeing March 2 anymore!

Not sure but my BG completed Jan 17. AOR was Oct 21, 2022. Online application. Vancouver office.

I see, so it was just a delay between test and LPP while ur BG was alrdy completed, I thought it was SS. Albeit, congrats!

Can SS happen even after BG is completed and while LPP is in progress?
