Really, omg what they are doing. my application is with the officer to review since April. I called yesterday and it's still with him/her. Idk why not making final decision.

What's your status on the application? What is pending in your case?

Protected people don’t go through normal spousal sponsorship. Once they get PR their families go through their own PR application process. The processing times are significantly different for both scenarios. Getting PR and then your dependents getting PR as a protected person usually takes 2-3 years.

I got my "eligibility requirements met" letter and pre-arrival letter 15 days ago now, but I haven't heard anything else.
