Does it really take a month to get notes?

Up to 30 days, yes.

My first notes came in 12 days. Second was 30 days and third was 27 days.

It's currently been 26 days waiting for the fourth notes.

Hi ImABule, do the GCMS notes change much between requests? Just asking because we requested our under Privacy Act and I am wondering if they would show pretty much the same information as what is now in My CIC for a 2016 applicant (submitted application 30 Mar 2016) since it will only be 4 months on 30 Jul 2016.

I've seen people with PPR have MyCIC say eligibility and background is in progress, and someone with an interview letter already yet MyCIC says interview is not needed.

I am convinced MyCIC is not updated and showing accurate info yet.

Even if it was, GCMS provides way more detail, and allows you to view the notes of the officer so you can see what they think about your relationship/application, you can see where your paper file is, you can see the dates something happens with your file.. It is something way more useful than MyCIC.

For the authorization for does the sponsor need to sign the rer part on part C if they are the one ordering notes.
