Permanent residence because you want to know what happened with your wife's permanent residence application.
The sponsorship file is already approaved

Another thought, I am ordering the notes to see the initial comments on my file from the officer in Mississauga to the VO the file was sent to, do you think those are in the sponsorship side as that's what they processed so far?

Yes they whould be in the sponsorship part but i dont know if you can find them in the permanent resident application as well.
