GCMS notes !!!

Hey guy, I applied in April 2014 but got my aor in September and my online status show the "lock in" date on file is June 9 because it says we received your file on June 9 2014. But I am planning to order notes because I got reply from my cic on my old enquiry about my application before file number and they said it's under review. How can I order gcms noted and how much it cost ? Because I heard it cost $5 from inside canada but I check their official site and it says it charge $30. One more question I do have representative and should I need to tell him about I am gonna order notes or no ?

I applied in this website last month and got my GCMS this week.

It only cost me $5 last month.

You can do it yourself but I don't think there's any harm telling your representative also.

If you are in Canada then its free of Cost. If you are located outside Canada then its $5.

Yeah i know you can get somebody to apply on your behalf, i was just wondering what the exact process was.

Also when is the best time to order GCMS? Im a July applicant and thinking about ordering them around early January time.

Global Case Management System notes contain details of your case such as what is going on right now or happened in last few days.

How can you order something that isn't there yet?

Besides, even if your case is already in the system (GCMS), the earliest you can find meaningful information will be 6-8 months from submission.

You filed your application September 29, which is why you haven't got an AOR. Your application is currently sitting in a big pile, along with lots of other applications, what to be looked at.

The most recent application on trackitt, that has received an AOR, was filed August 11, so you have quite a wait yet.

That's only one of my two applications. I submitted another application on August 1st, and no AOR, so was just hoping to find out more about that. Do you think it's also still too soon?

How come you have two apps? One CEC and another PNP?

I think you need to chill and be patient for a bit longer - you're well within a reasonable time frame.

It's incredibly unlikely that they will have GCMS notes for you unless you have received your AOR. I can only imagine the volume of people who prematurely start chasing their applications leads to even slower processing time for everyone.
