Can Someone know what is the meaning of this
- All valid ready to finalize in gcms notes? Thank you
Valid here means, that all your documents submitted have not yet expired and are on file. Ready to finalise is written in the notes when the eligibility is recommended passed, and the application is ready to finalize subject to your security.

See https://bit.ly/3kuXMq1

Once your eligibility is passed, your security will be initiated.

Ready to finalize means that the assistant or analyst is recommending that the officer review the file before making a final decision
VALID means "For a document—legal, not expired, and accepted by IRCC." Source

Hi Caipsnotes,
What does eligibility assigned to RC-6262 means? In my file there are some reviews done by local VO yet eligibility not started but it assigned to RC-6262 with future date.

Hi All,

I have recently received GCMS notes and need help in understanding them

I found Medical information in 3 sections:

Assessment Lists
Eligibility Not Started
Criminality: Passed
Medical: In-Progress
Info Sharing: In Progress

In Client Details Section, for Principal Applicant
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Passed-Bio
Medical: Sent
Info Sharing: In Progress

In Medical Assessment Section
Medical: 1
Assessed For: ALL
IME Status: Assessed
IME Status Reason: Granted

For Medicals, in the Assessment list, it says that the Medical is in progress,
in client details for Principal Applicant its says Medical is Sent and
in Medical Assessment Section it says IME Status: Assessed and IME Status Reason: Granted.
What does this mean? Have I passed the Medical or not? Or is it still waiting?

Thanks in advance.
Just in case someone sees this in future, what this means is that IRCC received the medicals, doctors have assessed you but the immigration officers have not put this on your file. (Checked with IRCC helpline).

Hi.

RC-6262 is Reporting Centre 6262 (CIO Centralized Intake Office)
The completeness check is done at the Central Intake Office (CIO) for all classes (FSW / PNP / CEC)
Other offices for examples are
RC-6029: New Delhi
RC-9245: OSC Operations Support Centre
RC-9518: CPC Edmonton

Eligibility will start after the R10 stage, see all the stages here

The GCMS notes are generated a few days after you place the request and will have all the processing details form when the application was filed to when the GCMS notes are generated.

The date of generation is mentioned at the bottom of each page of the GCMS notes.

It is as on the date of generation how your application looked like is reflected in the GCMS notes.

According to IRCC ATIP division; "the GCMS notes are generated around the time the requests are made, not at the time they are released"

Hi, I found something peculiar on my GCMS notes and need some insights please.

My application briefing -
PR residing in Canada. Applied for sponsorship outland.
Application sent Nov 2019.
Received biometric request and sponsorship approval in Dec 2019.
Awaiting medical request.

However, there is something I noticed in GCMS Notes related to medical request.

NOTES:
Created Date - 2019/12/20
Client will be advised via decision letter from CIO that : An original upfront Medical report form (IMM1017B UPFRONT) signed by a Panel Physician or an E-Medical Up-front medical notification information sheet has not been provided. Your relative(s) must complete medical and once completed forward this directly to the visa office noted above along with a copy of this letter. Your application has been transferred to the visa office noting this deficiency. Your relative must also forward this information directly to the visa office to allow continued processing of his/her application. Failure to do so will result in delays and possible refusal of your relative's application.

I have not received any letter related to this form. Could you please tell me if this is some sort of red flag ?

This is I think a standard note in file, ours had this as well, medical request was sent after this date.

Obviously covid means delays in medical but this note is not a red flag to best of my knowledge.

Thank you. There wasn't much progress on my application. The eligibility, security for PA was still not started even after 8 months. So I suspected if this is causing delays in some way.

That I cannot say, we received the biometric and SA and medical all within a matter of days of each other. There appear to be some regional/country differences for medical requests.

So mainly all I can say is that this language or similar seems pretty standard and should not be in itself an issue. But doesn't explain why you didn't get the medical request.

This is just a request or medicals for the sponsored person. Sine for sponsorship applications the medicals happen after receiving a request from IRCC. If you have not received the request, it could be because it was never sent to you.

See the outgoing correspondence in your GCMS notes to know if any letter was sent.

Also, instead of waiting you can get an upfront medical for the sponsored person, and submit the upfront sheet.
