GCMS Notes showing incorrect Email Id - Please help!!

Hi,

I've submitted my PR application through EE in Dec 2015.
In the GCMS notes, that i have received, i see the my email address is of a different person under CLIENT DETAILS section.
It is not the one that i mentioned in the contact details section of my submitted application.

I am currently in Canada on a Work Permit. The company i work for, uses an external law agency to process the work permit applications.
The Email id mentioned in my GCMS notes is of the Immigration lawyer in that agency that has handled my Work Permit.
(Probably GCMS is showing the details based on my UCI number ?)

Could you please let me know
1. if it mean, all the email communication will not reach me and instead it will sent to the other person ?
I was receiving emails whenever there was a change in myCIC.
But the last update was on Jan 7 2016 (when my BG check status went from "In Progress" to "Not Needed") and i received the GCMS notes in March.

2. Is there any process using which i can raise it to CIC and have my email-id corrected ?

You can send a CSE asking for this to be corrected. The system does tend to pick these fields from past application data in GCMS.

You can also send this form via CSE to cancel your representative and revert communication to you:

I had only used a representative for my previous application but not my current one, but CIC still required the form for me, so I chose the cancel option. My email address is correct in my GCMS notes.

@bellaluna, Could you let me know, how did CIC inform you to submit the required form ? Is it via email to you directly or a message in myCIC.

1. CIC requested it to me in MyCIC by opening an upload slot in the required documents.

2. After Asivad reply and before i saw your message, i already submitted the CSE without the cancellation form.
Can i re-submit a new CSE with the cancellation form?

Of course, go ahead and do this.
