GCMS notes show "failed candidate"

manidhatt gave the best advice! I was in exact same scenario. I wrote 12,000 in my application instead of 12,180 or so (Didn't know they updated the funds required). As an FSW Inlander, i got my GCMS notes in June and noticed the comment - "Funds: Appears Not Met. Review Required" even though A11.2 was deemed met!
I was so scared that I sent a CSE and emailed CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca immediately with new bank statement and letter of explanation.
Two weeks after they acknowledged receipt, I got an update on cic to background-in-progress!

I deem this as positive as my initially denied application did not get to background-in-progress.

can you share what you wrote in letter of explanation? please share this with me. my balance was 10500 with job offer and required is 12500 as per the gcms notes... and i have that failed candidate notification for funds requiremetn not met.

i am currently in canada on open work permit

Funds for 2 is $15,143. That is the reason why your profile is ineligible.
