OMG!!! I feel for you, buddy! I guess I am about to join your club (or perhaps I already have). This scary timeline certainly helps paint a picture for me, though. Thanks.headsafety said:If you are MAY applicant u should not expect that second review will be completed soon........In my case too it was reviewed by officer 1 and then he made a note for Review By Officer and then the officer sent me a letter asking for documents. I replied them back in September after that no news from them. They first put due date for second review in dec and then they postponed it to Feb. Still no reply.
So i will suggest just wait , i know this wait will be really painful but that is what we are going through
Best Of Luck
I know few people that applied in Sept & Oct 2013 still going through a second review at the moment. Hoping it won't happen to other people here as well, but just be prepared...adipadi said:OMG!!! So have they delayed even after you have given them your medical & PCC documents?headsafety said:Now 3rd time Second Review date has been postponed.
Dec to Feb to March...............CIC and WAIT
Weird, but not surprising. Did they give any reason why no action can be taken before July?headsafety said:No i have not given my medicals yet , i am waiting for Medical Request..... My representative told me not to go for upfront medicals......I called C.I.C. Call Center about my status they said that they cannot take any action on my application before JULY .....Due date for second review is March and if anything does not happen before July 4 months from March they cant take any action...
I dnt knw what are these rules
Hope is all there is...headsafety said:No ...Hopefully this time it will not be extended
Hi Adipadi, adipadi said:Yeah. I ordered GCMS notes again yesterday. I also called them this morning. They said that what they can see that my review date was initially 7-Feb - now they have moved it out to 30-Aug. They did not give a reason why, but said recommended that I wait for CIC to contact me before making any move on my own of appealing or sending additional documents.
Thanks for the kind words, rks0101. I hope what you mention above comes true.rks0101 said:Hi Adipadi,
Personally I read moving of review date to 30-Aug as positive sign meaning CIC plans to allocate more period for finalizing the decision versus rejecting/closing the case early. Seems they see merit in your case. And august review for May applicant looks fine as reviews generally happen much before the end date.
In the meanwhile, you could try sending copies of your office actual works (signed/emailed by you or emails received as work instructions etc.) which would become proof of the work responsibilities. Try to cover all (or as many) responsibilities of the NOC if possible. Try also to weed out contradictory information within your this submission or contradictory with older submissions or explain the contradictions, if you have to submit. I would always end submission by the words....Please review and advise if you need more information or more details...etc.
Hope this helps.
Hi Adipadi,adipadi said:Folks, I need some advice.
In my GCMS notes, my eligibility has been questioned and sent for second review, since the letter that my then employer issued, does not contain my roles and responsibilities (deliberately). So I had sent deputation letter, signed letter from colleague stating R&R, but the VO has chosen to ignore that documentation. So, I wish to send them additional documents that I hope may help my case, like:
(i) a copy of the email in which HR refused to provide a detailed work experience letter AND/OR
(ii) a letter which has details of my work experience and signed by my account head - but its not as clean as CIC typically would want it:-
(a) The letter is not original - but a scanned copy of a xerox copy. So it has got a few ink smudges and is black and white.
(b) The letter is on a India letter head (not on a Canada letter head) and signed my the account head who is in India.
(c) Date of issue of the letter is within my 'qualifying year', not after my one year.
Q1:- Is document (ii) worth sending to CIC?
Q2:- If I send both (i) & (ii) to CIC, can it be interpreted as contradictory documentation and may confuse them further?
Any thoughts are most welcome. Thanks.
Yes, it mentions my roles and responsibilities that I performed in Canada - it mentions the location as well as the duration.rks0101 said:Hi Adipadi,
Question - Does India letter says which location you work (I mean does it say that you are working in Canada or on Canadian project?)? Or does it sound by reading that the letter covers your work in Canada?
Thx
